Mack Hatcher Extension Public Meeting Rescheduled

The public meeting regarding the western extension of the Mack Hatcher Parkway has been rescheduled. Originally, the meeting was set to take place March 5, but it was cancelled due to ice and snow.

The meeting will discuss the Mack Hatcher extension from US 31 Columbia Pike to SR 106 Hillsboro Rd., and the consideration of environmental impact under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) will be discussed.

The public meeting will now take place at Pearre Creek Elementary School in the gymnasium at 1811 Townsend Boulevard in Franklin on Thursday, April 16 from 5 p.m. – 7 p.m.

“[TDOT]¬†will host a public meeting to provide an update on the project, specifically the reevaluation of the NEPA document. Federal approval of this environmental document is required before moving on the construction phase.” TDOT’s Region 3 Communications Officer, Heather Jensen, wrote in an email.
