Luxenhaus Day Spa Opens in Franklin

Luxenhaus Day Spa has opened in Franklin at 1175 Meridian Blvd, in the former location of Woodhouse Day Spa.

This will be a second location for Luxenhaus, the spa also acquired the Chattanooga location reported Chattanooga Times Free Press.

Owned by Calina Burns, the spa name is a reference to her German ancestry. The name Luxenhaus gives recognition to both sides of European history.

“I was born in Germany and haus is German for house,” Burns told Chattanooga Times Free Press. “My ancestry also goes back to the Basque area of Western Europe, which includes parts of Spain and France. The literal translation for luxen, which comes from this region, is “in luxury.”

Customers will find an extensive list of treatments, massages, and packages just like what was previously offered at Woodhouse.

Luxenhaus will honor gift cards purchased at Woodhouse Day Spa, the customer just needs to call or stop by the spa to exchange them for a Luxenhaus Spa card.

No updates have been shared on the hours of the Franklin location.
