Page High School has improved to 5-2 on the season and are winners of their last 4 matches thanks to Tristan Lonergan finding the back of the net 3 times.

Lonergan scored all 3 in the second half, as both teams went scoreless in the first 45 minutes of the contest, which may have been due to the linesman calling offside very tight.

It didn’t seem to matter in the second half, however, when the Patriots got to the scoresheet in the 60th minute. Drew Metkler got the assist to Lonnergan on the first goal of the night.

It was just a couple minutes later when Lonergan and Page doubled up their advantage, with a second goal in the 62nd minute.

Nick Burns got the assist on Lonergan’s third goal.

The shutout gives Page their second clean sheet of the season while allowing just 4 goals in 6 games.

The Patriots will be at Wayne County tomorrow.
