Lockwood Glen Apartment Project Breaks Ground in January

Crescent Communities and Pearl Street Partners announced on Tuesday that they will break ground in January on Crescent Lockwood Glen, their 239-unit multi-family housing project.

“Crescent Lockwood Glen will blur the lines between rental and home ownership experiences,” said Benjamin L. Collins, senior vice president of Crescent Communities, in announcing the beginning of the project.

Crescent Lockwood Glen will be built on the southern end of their 624-unit master plan community Lockwood Glen, located on the new extension of Carothers Parkway that runs parallel to I-65 near the Harpeth River.

The apartments will be available in one, two, and three-bedroom floor plans with one and two car attached garages. They will mirror the architectural design of the surrounding single family homes and feature upscale interior design elements.

Crescent Lockwood Glen is estimated to be a $50 million project, with planned onsite amenities including a saltwater pool and surrounding decking, grills and outdoor dining areas, fire pits, private gardens, a central park, playgrounds, and dog park. Future plans call for 30,000 – 50,000 square feet of retail on an adjoining stand-alone parcel.

Khris Pascarella, principal of Pearl Street Partners, stated “Crescent Lockwood Glen will be the quintessential, apartment experience for residents. It will also provide future residents of Lockwood Glen and Echelon at Lockwood Glen the opportunity to become members of the community while their new home is under construction.”
