1. Crafty Adults: T-shirt Tote Bags

WHAT: Calling Crafty Adults! Do you like to be creative and enjoy crafts and DIYs? Then, join the Williamson County Library for their upcoming Adult Craft Program, where you will make a T-shirt Tote Bag (no sewing required)! It’ll be something new and unique, it’s free and you might make some new friends!

This free program is designed for adults 18 and up. Scissors will be provided but please bring a T-shirt to turn into a tote bag.

2. Hike at Radnor Lake

WHAT: This is a moderate 3-4 mile hike. This hike includes a couple of hills, please take into consideration and usually takes 1 1/2 hours to complete. The hike starts at the Granny White Pike entrance West parking lot, leisurely hike on the lake trails to East Parking Lot for a quick break, then continue to South Lake Trail and back to West parking area. Or branch off for a 2 1/2 mile easy loop around the lake.

Pets are not allowed on the trails. Note that on good weather days Radnor parking can get crowded. Please allow plenty of travel time and observe all traffic flow and parking rules posted. There is not a sign for Radnor Lake on Granny White Pike or Franklin Road. Look on the map for where Otter Creek Road intersects Granny White Pike or Franklin Road and turn there.

5. Star Party

WHAT: Bowie Nature Park is hosting a FREE Public Star Party! Members of BSAS set up telescopes in the park for public viewing. You do not need to be a member or own a telescope, just come on out and enjoy an evening looking at the sky. The winter sky is full of fun things to look at, from the Moon to the Great Nebula in Orion. Kid friendly.
