1. Brentwood Tree Lighting

WHAT: Don’t miss the annual Tree Lighting Ceremony at the John P. Holt Brentwood Library, Monday, December 3 at 5:30pm with special dedication by Mayor Jill Burgin. The evening is filled with special music, holiday treats, and warm cider. The tree lighting’s special music will be provided by the Ravenwood High School Chorus. At 5pm and 6pm, there will be readings of The Polar Express in the Reading Room. Everyone attending The Polar Express reading must have a ticket. The event is free, and tickets will be available ahead of time.

2. Nolensville North Pole Experience & Tree Lighting

WHAT: The Nolensville Christmas tradition continues this year with The North Pole Experience. They are moving to a new location this year as they partner with Nolensville Historical Society. Santa and his elves are making plans to transform the old gym into a workshop. Bring the family, invite your neighbors and be prepared to hang out for a little while and enjoy food, coffee and light the Christmas tree.

3. Viewing Party: Amy Grant’s Tennessee Christmas

WHAT: “Amy Grant’s Tennessee Christmas – Presented by Hallmark Channel,” a one-hour music special helmed by the singer/songwriter, was filmed in Franklin at Graystone Quarry and will air Monday, December 3 at 7 p.

Instead of watching it on T.V., join other fans at the Quarry for a free watch party on Dec. 3 beginning at 6:30pm. There will be an ugly sweater contest, live entertainment by Forget Me Not and concessions will be available for purchase.

4. Columbia Main Street Christmas Parade

WHAT: Join in the fun at Columbia’s Annual Christmas Parade in Historic Downtown Columbia, TN. Marching bands, floats, and of course Santa will delight old and young. There may even be a sprinkling of snow to add a little extra cheer.

5. Santa Visits Viking Pizza
