1. Science of Beer 2018

WHAT: Explore a whole BREW world at the Adventure Science Center’s 10th annual Science of Beer festival!

In partnership with Lipman Brothers, the Adventure Science Center brings beer fans another science-filled festival that celebrates tasty brews from around the globe.

General admission tickets are $60 and includes science center access, souvenir pint glass, and unlimited tastings. Explorers’ Lounge tickets are $100 and includes general ticket perks PLUS entry to the Explorers’ Lounge at 6pm with an exclusive tasting table, hors d’eouvres and a coat check.

Adventure Science Center members can purchase tickets at either tier, but, as a special perk, they will also receive a swag bag of awesome brewery goodies at the event.

Must be 21 or older to attend. Valid photo ID required at the door. Tickets are non-refundable. All proceeds support Adventure Science Center’s interactive exhibits and hands-on science experiences.

3. Harpy Holidays! “A Nutcracker Christmas”

WHAT: The Hillnote Harp and Piano Academy invites you to enjoy a free community concert featuring students of all ages performing musical selections from The Nutcracker and many other holiday favorites. Come see harps of all different sizes, learn about how the harp works, and hear what makes the harp the most magical instrument!

4. Honeycomb Candle Making

WHAT: December 21 is the winter solstice. It is the “darkest” day of the year. What better time to learn how to make a honeycomb candle to light things up for you? Participants will create and take home their own honeycomb candle and get to sample some honey. Along with the candle making, you will also learn about the life history of the honeybee.
