The NPD coordinated last night with Brentwood PD and the Sheriff’s Office to concentrate on a rash of car burglaries that have affected all 3 jurisdictions over the last few nights.

Shortly after midnight, we received a call of prowlers off Sunset Road. Responding units converged on the area and a sheriff’s deputy spotted a car leaving the neighborhood at a high rate of speed.

The vehicle with three occupants was stopped at Nolensville Road and Kidd Road. NPD officers found a wallet inside the car belonging to a residence off Sunset Road. A follow-up investigation linked the trio to 3 different incidents off Sunset Road this morning.

All three were transported to the Williamson County Jail and charged with multiple counts of burglary, attempted burglary, Fleeing to avoid arrest, facilitation of a felony and contributing to the delinquency of a minor, as one of the three suspects is 16 years old.

The NPD will be working with surrounding agencies to be able to connect the three to other cases.

All three are from Nashville. The two adults have a past criminal record and one is believed to be on probation on prior charges. We appreciate the assistance of the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and Brentwood Police. The investigation continues.
