Author Nancy Gentry is launching her new book, Little Blue Little Gray Thursday, June 14th from 4-6 P.M. on campus at O’More College of Design. Her historical fiction novel centers on two young boys fighting on opposing sides during the Civil War. The two meet at the Battle of Chickamauga in September of 1863.
This is the fourth book Gentry has published with O’More Publishing and her first historical fiction novel. Rebel in Petticoat, is popular with young adult readers. You are invited to meet this Memphis school teacher and her book illustrator, O’More student Sarah Keaggy. Keaggy is a visual communications major and a native of Franklin. She was recently awarded the “Gill Sans” departmental scholarship.
Hors d’ oeuvres and drinks will be served at the Abbey Leix Mansion, 423 S. Margin Street in downtown Franklin. Don’t miss your chance to say hello and possibly get a book signed by Gentry and budding new artist, Sarah Keaggy.
