Lifeguard Appreciation Day at WCPR Pools

Williamson County Parks and Recreation (WCPR) is winding up the summer swim season with a special lifeguard appreciation day at its outdoor pools in Franklin, Fairview, Spring Hill and Nolensville.

Time to thank all the WCPR lifeguards for their hard work! Pool managers will be awarding special medals to lifeguards throughout the day. At 12:50 p.m. and 2:50 p.m., all pool patrons and lifeguards will receive free popsicles.

Pools are open from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Join the fun at the Franklin Recreation Complex pool at 1120 Hillsboro Rd.; the Fairview Recreation Complex pool, 2714 Fairview Blvd.; the Longview Recreation Center at Spring Hill, 2909 Commonwealth Drive; and the recreation complex pool in Nolensville, 7250 Nolensville Rd.

General admission to WCPR outdoor pools is $3 for youth and adult swimmers, $1 for seniors (ages 55 and older) and children ages 3 and younger are admitted free. WCPR annual facility passes and multi-visit passes include admission to outdoor pools.

Pool hours through August 6 are 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.

10:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday; and 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Sundays (weather permitting).

On Friday, August 7, the pools will be open special hours from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

From August 8 through September 6, pools will be closed Monday-Friday, open Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Closed Labor Day.
