2Country4Nashville in Concert
This Saturday, April 5th, at 2 pm, 2Country4Nashville will perform at the main libarary. Jo-el & LeAnne, the very entertaining, traditional country music duo, will sing all your favorite traditional country music hits made famous by legends like Johnny Cash & June Carter Cash, Waylon Jennings, Patsy Cline, Roy Orbison, Buck Owens, Conway & Loretta,and more! Anime Club
This Sunday, Apr. 6, head to the library for an anime double feature at 2:00 pm. Garden of Words and Psycho-Pass will be shown. Makoto Shinkai’s masterpiece – Garden of Words – may only be 45 minutes but it is breathtaking! Psycho-Pass, is a hard-boiled sci-fi thriller from the creator of Madoka Magica and the studio of Ghost in the Shell. Free refreshments and popcorn are available!
Legal Aid at the Library
Next Tuesday, Apr. 8th at 4:30 pm, the Legal Aid Society and Nashville Pro Bono Program provide a place for you to go to talk with a lawyer. The lawyer will provide advice to you about your problem. The help is free, but they can’t help with criminal cases. These clinics will be held on the second Tuesday of every month beginning at 4:30 pm. Bring any papers about your legal problem with you.

Production of “The Wizard of Oz”
The Hampstead Stage Company will present a family friendly theatrical production of “The Wizard of Oz” this Sunday, April 6th. This event is free and no registration required. This event will take place in Meeting Room B at 1:30pm. The show is one hour long. For more information on this event, call 615-371-0090 ex.8290.
The Hampstead Stage Company is a nationally touring children’s theatre that brings high quality, professional theatre to schools, libraries, and communities all over the 48 continental states (everywhere but Hawaii and Alaska!). The Hampstead Stage Company’s goal is to bring great books to life through live theatre; sparking an interest in reading, and creating a new way to use your imagination for everyone!
Author’s Night Featuring Keel Hunt
The Brentwood Library Foundation Board’s annual Author’s Night Event is Friday, April 11th, featuring Nashville author Keel Hunt. Hunt is best known for his book COUP: The Day the Democrats Ousted Their Governor, Put Republican Lamar Alexander in Office Early, and Stopped a Pardon Scandal. Read more about this event HERE.

Book Sale
Friends of the Library Book Sale begins next Wed, April 9th. The sale runs through Saturday, April 12th. Hardback books are $2 and paperbacks are $1 each. Call 790-1887 for book sale hours. All funds go to support Bethesda Public Library.
Annual Plant Sale
Buy your plants at the Friends of Bethesda Library plant sale. You can preorder plants throughout the month of April and pickup will be on May 2nd from 9:30 am to 5:30 pm and May 3rd from 10 am to 2 pm. All proceeds benefit Bethesda Public Library.
