Lewisburg Pike Remains Closed Due to Flood Damage

TDOT traffic cones

Due to damage from flooding, a portion of Lewisburg Pike in Franklin will stay closed for a week.

According to Franklin Police, the road is closed between Thompson Alley and Eastern Flank Circle, near Eastern Flank Park.

“The shoulders are washed out,” the Tennessee Department of Transportation stated. “There will need to be guardrail work as well as roadway repairs.”

There is no current timeline for re-opening the roadway, but TDOT said engineers estimate it will stay closed for “up to a week.”

The city of Franklin is assisting in the repairs. Traffic is being diverted to Columbia Avenue via Mack Hatcher.
