Lee Brice Celebrates #1 “Drinking Class”

Broadcast Music, Inc. executives and other music industry notables gathered at Pourhouse in Nashville to commemorate BMI songwriters David Frasier and Ed Hill, along with songwriter Josh Kear, who co-penned Lee Brice’s #1 hit, “Drinking Class.”

The certified gold track is the second single off Brice’s third studio album and chart-topping release, “I Don’t Dance,” the title track of which also hit #1.  It is the first #1 hit for the writing trio after 15 years of writing songs together.

Dave Frasier said, “I’m a late bloomer but I’m excited to be celebrating my first #1 .”

In honor of the #1 song and the songwriters behind it, a donation was made to the Nashville Rescue Mission by Ron Cox of Avenue Bank.

Lee Brice told us,”As a songwriter I know what it takes to get up every day and go to work.  To the songwriters of this song, Thank You!”  Lee also thanked the producers for their efforts on this project.

Fans can see Lee Brice performing at the CMA Fest on Tuesday, June 9th, with a free concert on the Broadway stage along with  Tyler Farr, Rodney Atkins, Maddie & Tae, Dee Jay Silver and Kip Moore. To see more times when Lee Brice will be performing, visit Lee Brice website.
