The Nolensville Historical Society is offering multiple classes in the month of July for children and adults. If you are interested in a class please email to reserve a spot and get more information.

Classes meet in the cafeteria. Enter through the gym steps, cross the room by the stage and enter the double doors on the left

Youth Leadership Class:

When: Sunday, July 19th.
Girls Class 2 p.m.- 4 p.m.
Boys Class 4:30-6:30
Where: Historic Nolensville School
Instructor: Susan Cagna
Cost: $30
Description: The Youth Leadership class is offered for youth grades 4-12 and teaches confidence building, overcoming fear, basic manners (including dining skills and proper introductions) and speaking with excellence. 

About the instructor:

Susan Cagna is a Judge for most Major Pageant Systems, Talent Scout, Interviewer, Commercial and Runway Trainer, an Etiquette Coach, Former Mrs. US and Ordained Minister. Susan’s main job is being the Wife and Mother of her two wonderful children and Wellness Advocate.

 “The last classes were great,” said Lynda Moses of the Nolensville Historical Society. “Susan draws each student out and holds their attention. Even the very shy students enjoyed it and began speaking up. I was VERY impressed with this class.”

Canning and Freezing Class:

When: Tuesday, July 21 from 10 a.m. to 12 Noon
Night class schedule coming soon
Where: Historic Nolensville School
Instructor: Patsy Watkins, Williamson County extension agent
Cost: $10
Description: Learn how to can and freeze vegetables and fruit. All you need is a pen and paper to take notes on the FDA recommendations for safely preserving food. Even if you’ve canned for years you can learn something new.

Night class will be a weeknight last week of July or first of Aug.
