The University of Chattanooga College of Business is hosting a 6-day residential summer program from June 16th-June 21st for academically talented rising high school seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in business.
The program, called The Summer Business Experience, will offer students the opportunity to interact one-on-one with university professors and successful business professionals through hands-on workshops, field trips and seminars.
Students will also visit top employers of the UTC College of Business school graduates, including national and regional leaders in the manufacturing, retail and service industries. These visits will include personal interactions with top-level executives and behind-the-scenes tours of operations and facilities.
In addition, students will also get a glimpse into college life and what it would be like to live in Chattanooga with recreational events like athletic activities, picnics, visits to area attractions and more.
To be eligible for this program, students must currently be high school juniors (Seniors in Fall 14) and have a minimum GPA of 3.25 and a 23 ACT/SAT equivalent.
Applications can be found HERE. The deadline is April 15th. The program cost is $200 and includes all housing, meals, snacks, transportation and recreational activities. Students are responsible for their travel to/from the UTC campus.
