Leadership Franklin is celebrating 16 years and reminds everyone that applications for the 2012 class are due Friday, June 1st. Applicants are chosen based on previous community involvement and other factors and only 20 are accepted each year.
This nonprofit educational leadership organization is primarily funded by individual and business contributions. Eight sessions are held over as many months focusing on history, government, business, law enforcement, media, education and quality of life. Four class projects emerge from the experience and Franklin Tomorrow is one example of those collaborations.
