Quarterback Logan Sakarapanee’s two-point conversion run with 22 seconds left gave Lipscomb Academy a 43-42 win over Spring Hill.
The Mustangs (6-2) cut the deficit to one when Caleb Silva scored on a 3-yard run.
The teams combined for five touchdowns during a wild fourth quarter.
Dontae Smith’s 75-yard kickoff return for a TD had given Spring Hill a 42-35 lead with 2:08 left.
Smith rushed for 254 yards and three TDs on 26 carries.
Spring Hill (4-5) suffered its fourth consecutive loss after making six turnovers. Quarterback T.J. Ennis threw four interceptions and the Raiders lost two fumbles.
Lipscomb won its fourth straight after starting the season 2-2.
The game was tied at 21 at halftime, and the Raiders led three times during the last two quarters.
