Family-friendly destination The Landing at Spring Hill is open.
Located at 5159 Main Street in Spring Hill, The Landing is celebrating its first days of business.
Announcing on Facebook, hours for this week are Thursday, Dec. 12 – Friday, Dec. 13, 7 a.m. – 4 p.m., Saturday, Dec. 14 (reservations for a special event) and Sunday, Dec. 15, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Santa is paying a special visit to The Landing on Saturday where guests will be enjoying cookies, ice cream, and hot chocolate. It is a reservation-only event that currently says full but the venue invites the community to drop by The Landing after the Christmas Parade.
The Landing will offer breakfast, lunch, and desserts.
Breakfast options include; Breakfast sandwich option with sausage, egg, or bacon. Create your own plate, bagel, oatmeal, and drink options of juice, coffee, and sweet tea.
For lunch, diners can choose from sandwiches with protein options of turkey, chicken, ham and more. A selection of soups is listed; chili, chicken tortilla, and a special created daily. A kids menu list mac & cheese, pb&j, and Novie nuggets.
Looking to stop by for dessert? Check out their selection of ice cream, brownies, and cookies.
Owner Angela Privett created The Landing to be a family-friendly venue and destination for live music, festivals, games, a cafe and even the opportunity for community members to rent the space for private events or fundraisers.
The grandmother of five saw it as the perfect place to create a “family destination” a place where you can spend time outside, play games, walk to Harvey Park, and enjoy family time while getting to know others in the community.
