kroger robbery suspect

On Monday, January 8, 2018, at approximately 9:00 pm Brentwood Police responded to
the Kroger Pharmacy at 210 Franklin Road on a report of a robbery. Responding officers
discovered that a male suspect had fled on foot with an unknown quantity of prescription
medication.

An investigation determined that the suspect approached a clerk from behind as the clerk
was closing the pharmacy. The suspect, who was wearing a surgical mask and armed
with a handgun, forced the clerk to open a safe containing multiple prescription
medications. After removing prescription drugs from the safe the suspect fled the store on
foot.

The suspect remains at large. He is described as a black male, approximately 5’7” to 5’10”
tall with a medium build. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket, jeans, a blue cap
and white surgical mask.
