The Kiwanis Club of Historic Downtown Franklin is pleased to announce five $1,000.00 scholarships will be awarded to high school seniors who attend a Franklin public or private high school (Franklin, Centennial, Page, Independence, Renaissance). Seniors who are homeschooled and live in Franklin are also eligible.
Students must be a graduating senior with a GPA of 2.5 or higher, be accepted to attend an accredited post-secondary school on a full or part-time basis and have participated in community service and extracurricular activities. Applicants must also submit an essay entitled “How Serving Others has Changed my Life” along with three letters of recommendations.
Applications are due online by midnight on March 22 or be postmarked by March 22, 2019. A Kiwanis Club review committee will select the winners based on the criteria established in the application.
