Price will be joined by his teammate and all-star outfielder, Mookie Betts at the benefit for Project One Four Foundation, which helps youth in the Middle Tennessee community learn life skills in a safe and supportive environment.

Price attended Vanderbilt University where he was the nation’s top strikeout collegiate pitcher. In 2007 he was the number one pick of the Major League Baseball Draft by the Tampa Bay Rays and just finished his first season with the Boston Red Sox. He has won major national awards including the Consensus National Player of the Year, the Roger Clemens Award, Golden Spikes Award, Dick Howser Award, Brooks Wallace Award and the 2012 CY Young Award.

Graduating from Overton High School in Nashville, Mookie Betts headed to the big leagues in 2014 where he made his debut with the Boston Red Sox. This year alone he had 214 hits, 42 doubles, 31 home runs and 113 RBIs with a .318 batting average. Betts recently received the 2016 American League Gold Glove Award.
