Kelsea Ballerini is in the studio working on her sophomore album. But rumors have been circulating that Ballerini has been collaborating with Taylor Swift.
After Ballerini posted a Snapchat, fans were convinced it was Swift. One fan posted the following on Twitter.

Ballerini responded to the Twitter follower by saying, “nope! but I ❤️ Tay and am equally as stoked for her new stuff as you!”
Just to help clear things up, Ballerini posted on her Instagram her new song “Roses,” where she stated she’d been working on a new record.
“Been working on the new record and writing like crazy. love sharing little pieces as I put the puzzle together, and shared part of this new one on my snap last week. lots of rumors came from it, so I thought I’d share a bit more and let y’all in further.”
Ballerini continued by dispelling the rumors that she was recording a duo but never mentions Taylor Swift.
“It’s not a collaboration with anyone, and I’m not making a pop record. Just exploring all the boundaries of songwriting and creativity I have so I can make the best record I can make for both me and you. So, this is Roses.”
