Keeping Us Safe – Fairview City Firefighters

Fairview city firefighters just completed a 64 hour grueling course for basic fire fighting. Eleven people graduated from the course with 4 of those being local volunteers. This course is a prerequisite for those wanting to attend the 16-hour Firefighter Live Burn course held at the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy.

Written and practical tests were required before the graduates received their certificates from the Tennessee Fire and Codes Academy. This is one of the greatest services a citizen can provide to their community. If you are interested in volunteering or learning more, contact Captain Scott Hughes at (615) 799-3473.
