Keeping Students Safe in WCS

The 2025-26 school year is underway in WCS, and the district has a message to share with families.

The district produced a series of Public Service Announcements (PSAs) in the 2023-24 school year to stress the importance of families talking with their students. The video topics were selected by WCS Safety and Security Director Michael Fletcher and Williamson County Sheriff’s Office (WSCO) detectives. The video above shares how the community as a whole can work together to keep students safe.

“It takes everyone to keep our schools safe,” Fletcher said. “Be sure to talk with your students about school safety and remind them that words can have consequences. See something, say something works. Tell your student that if they see something, always report it to an adult.”
