June is Great Outdoors Month Series Part 5
Grassland Park and Fairview Recreation Complex are two more fantastic options for enjoying a bit of the great outdoors here in Williamson County. Grassland is on the corner of Hillsboro Road and Manley Lane behind the Grassland schools.
Grassland offers youth baseball fields, tennis courts, a playground, pavilion and gazebo for your picnic and outdoor fun. Restrooms are kept available and clean on site and there is plenty of open field to frolic and wear out your children.
Fairview Recreation Complex is at 2714 Fairview Boulevard and offers one of the most important amenities in the area, a swimming pool. The outdoor pool, gymnasium, and game room get the most traffic, but they do have a fine walking trail for you to step out upon. The complex offers arts and crafts classes, group fitness, a sitting service and all the things you have come to expect from Williamson County’s Parks and Recreation Department.
