Jodi Theobald recently joined nonprofit FiftyForward as the new center director of the FiftyForward Martin Center in Brentwood, Tennessee.

“We are thrilled Jodi has joined our team,” said FiftyForward Associate Executive Director of Active Aging Jocelyn Briddell. “Jodi brings with her a rich history of advocating for others and a distinct passion for serving older adults. We are excited to have her build on the rich legacy initiated by her predecessor, Joyce Keistler, who will be retiring at year’s end.”

Theobald earned her Master of Social Work from the University of Missouri – Columbia (Columbia, Missouri) and holds a Bachelor of Arts from Eastern Illinois University (Charleston, Illinois) with a major in Psychology.

Most recently, Theobald worked as a program manager with Ascend Management Innovations in Nashville where she managed overall operations and performance of pre-admission screening and resident review program contracts for three states. She has more than ten years of professional experience and a passion for working with older adults having served in a number of roles including marketing home health services and account management — including referral sources for physician practices, assisted living facilities, and senior centers — as well as serving as a geriatric specialist where she was responsible for program planning, development, and evaluation of geriatric-psychiatric and caregiver programs.
