Jessie James Decker Takes #1 On iTunes Country Chart

Jessie James Decker released her sparkling new EP Gold last week. The record quickly hit #1 on the iTunes Country chart and Top 3 overall within hours of its release.

“I can’t wait for everyone to hear what we’ve been working on these past two years,” shares Jessie. “This music has evolved with me. These songs are special. This record truly is Gold.”

To celebrate the record’s release, Jessie invited her more than 3.8 million social media followers to join her on Facebook for a live listening and pajama party.

Produced by Daniel Agee and recorded at his studio in Nashville, the project’s sultry lead single “Lights Down Low,” has garnered more than 6.5 million streams on Spotify. Gold features tracks written by powerhouse songwriters Jeffrey Steele and Jesse Frasure and Grammy-winning artist Maren Morris. Jessie is co-writer on two of the EP’s five tracks.

Country Music singer/songwriter and style entrepreneur Jessie James Decker began singing at nine years old and was already attracting attention in Music City for her gritty, genuine vocals by the age of fifteen. Her 2009 self-titled debut album features the Gold– certified single “Wanted.” In 2014, she released her Comin’ Home EP, which reached #1 on the iTunes chart and #5 on Billboard’s Top Country Albums Chart. Decker’s new single, “Lights Down Low,” was written with Alyssa Bonagura.
