Williamson County resident and lead singer of Sugarland, Jennifer Nettles, wowed attendees of The Battle at Bristol when she sang the National Anthem. The National Anthem is one of the most difficult songs to sing and Nettles filled the stadium with her booming voice.
During the singing of the National Anthem, the audience was given cards to hold which portrayed a waving American flag and spelled out “USA” in the end zone.
Before the UT versus Virginia Tech game began, the audience was treated to a concert by Kenny Chesney, Old Dominion and The Band Perry. The Battle at Bristol had a record attendance of over 156,000 fabs,
