JEAPS Offers Zip Line and Paintball Programs

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is pleased to announce two Fall JEAPS (Junior Excursion Adventure Programs) for adventurous 11 to 15 year olds. These chaperoned day trips help beat the boredom with a zip line adventure and a paintball excursion.

Zip Line: Treetop Adventure Park

Join the fun and journey into the woods Saturday, September 19 where you will encounter zip lines, suspended bridges, cargo nets, Tarzan jumps and more. This trip is for teens ages 11 to 15, and each participant should wear old clothes and bring a sack lunch, snacks and water.jeap-paintball-zipline

The group will meet at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road at 9:00 a.m. and return at 4:00 p.m. Register on line ($40-program #5222) at www.wcparksandrec.com or call (615) 302-0971, ext. 2214.

Paintball Excursion

Paintball- Rev up your Fall Break with a paintball trip on Monday, October 19. This fun-filled day of paintball is for kids ages 11 to 15, and will meet at the Franklin Recreation Complex, 1120 Hillsboro Road at 8:30 a.m. and return at 4:00 p.m.

Each participant should wear old clothes and bring a sack lunch, snacks and water. The basic trip ($40) includes transportation and paintball equipment, plus it is recommended that participants bring cash to purchase an additional case of paintballs on site for $49.99 (2,000 ct.) or split a case with a friend.

Spring Hill participants have the option of meeting the group at 10:00 a.m. at Middle TN Paintball, 4215 Kedron Rd. Register on line (program #5227) at www.wcparksandrec.com or call (615) 302-0971, ext. 2214.
