Jay DeMarcus of Rascal Flatts has two new projects. DeMarcus announced a book contract with Zondervan. Shotgun Angels will give readers a backstage pass to the unlikely journey that led DeMarcus from small-town Ohio to some of the world’s largest stages.Shotgun Angels: My Story of Broken Roads and Unshakable Hope is set to release April 30, 2019.
Also in the works for DeMarcus is a new Christian music label called Red Street Records. DeMarcus announced the appointment of industry veteran Don Koch as general manager as well as inaugural signings to the new label: female vocalist Lauren James and iconic vocal group, AVALON. In a press conference, both artists performed, giving the invitation-only VIP audience full of industry and media a sneak-peak at the first offerings set to arrive from Red Street Records.
