If you’ve been waiting for new music from Jason Isbell, you only have to wait until June. Isbell made two announcements on Monday- new music and new concert dates at The Ryman.
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will release the Nashville Sound on Southeastern Records on June 16th.
The Nashville Sound was recorded at Nashville’s legendary RCA Studio A and produced by Grammy Award-winner Dave Cobb, who produced Something More Than Free and Isbell’s celebrated 2013 breakthrough album Southeastern.
The Nashville Sound is the first official Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit album since 2011’s Here We Rest. The 400 Unit features Derry deBorja (keyboards), Chad Gamble (drums), Jimbo Hart (bass), and Isbell’s wife- Amanda Shires (fiddle) and Sadler Vaden (guitar).
Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit will perform five nights at the Ryman Auditorium this October 10th-15th.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, March 17 at 10 am. Be ready because the last time tickets to a Jason Isbell concert went on sale, it sold out in less than a minute.
