Country music artist, Jason Aldean, could soon have his own restaurant on Broadway in downtown Nashville.

Aldean would join Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley’s Whiskey Row, John Rich, Blake Shelton’s Ole Red and Florida Georgia Line’s FGL house which is just off Broadway as the latest in country music artist to open or soon to open restaurants in downtown Nashville.

Nashville Business Journal reported that Jason Aldean’s Kitchen + Rooftop Bar is slated for 305-311 Broadway, a property just purchased by TC Restaurant Group.

In a news release, TC Restaurant Group shared  “multimillion-dollar expansion and soon-to-be-announced new venues.” With that expansion, it includes the addition of a four-story rooftop space and enlarging the space overall by nearly 45 percent. TC Restaurant is the same group that developed the Florida Georgia Line restaurant FGL House in downtown Nashville.

The Metro Codes Department is reviewing TC Restaurant Group’s requested signage permit. The Codes paperwork describes the sign as being “formerly Tequila Cowboy,” though it wasn’t immediately clear whether Tequila Cowboy would shut down or whether it would remain open with Aldean’s concept joining the others in the building, said Nashville Business Journal.
