Jack Yacoubian Jewelers has been in the same spot on 3rd Avenue South in downtown Franklin since he moved from Memphis in 2012 with his family. Jack and Maggie are moving their store to a more visible location on the Historic Downtown Franklin Square. They will hold a  Grand Opening at 300 Public Square on July 1st to coincide with the Franklin Art Scene, which they have supported since it’s inception.
The day will feature a ribbon cutting, jewelry specials and Bob Gray will be the featured artist. Bob Gray was born and raised in (Snake Hollow) Paint Rock, Tennessee. In this place he developed a sense of curiosity, discovery and imagination, which he still pursues through his art and music. Gray is a multi-talented artist known for his keen, bright-colored, and insightful portrayals of Americana life and culture. Gray’s art has been featured in the Oxford American and Time Magazine. The Complete Hank Williams boxed CD set, featuring Gray’s art, won a Grammy Award for design. Gray’s work is popular throughout the Southeast as well as in the well-known artistic neighborhoods of New York City.

Bob’s passion for Painting the Presidents is both a challenge and an opportunity to take his slightly abstract ideas and develop cutting edge yet recognizable paintings that each have their own personality!
