Iron Tribe Fitness will open their second Williamson County location in Cool Springs, behind Cracker Barrel, on Mallory Lane.

Birmingham, Alabama based Iron Tribe Fitness opened its first Middle Tennessee franchise in the fall of 2012 in the Maryland Farms area.

Iron Tribe offers small group classes that are capped at 20 people per class. The classes are offered multiple times throughout the day, with coaches in every class to guide members through the workouts. The workouts at Iron Tribe are different every day, and the types of exercises covered in each workout cover many areas of fitness including cardio (running, rowing, jump rope), weightlifting, gymnastics, kettle bells, and even classic bodyweight movements like push-ups and sit-ups make regular appearances throughout the week.

“I think our members enjoy the workouts, and are seeing results from being in the gym several days a week, but that’s not what sets us apart. At Iron Tribe, we aren’t just a fitness facility. We provide nutritional coaching, meal programs, a thorough introductory program, and most importantly, we place a great deal of emphasis on accountability. It’s not about quick weight loss fixes – we are helping our members create life-changing health and fitness habits,” said Richard Martens, owner/operator of the Brentwood and new Cool Springs locations.

Iron Tribe not only provides small, community-like classes but emphasizes safety by starting all of its members in an “ITF 101 course.”

“We put all of our members through a month-long introductory course, teaching them all of the movements they will see in regular classes. They learn the proper form first, and it makes the transition to regular classes not only easier, but safe as well,” said Martens.

The new Cool Springs location is now open and enrolling members in the ITF 101 course.
