The reality T.V. show “Duck Dynasty” has become a major hit over the past few years. If you don’t know about “Duck Dynasty,” it is a reality show, following the lives of The Robertson Family who own and operate Duck Commander, a business specializing in the production of duck calls.
Every member of the family brings something special to the show, whether it’s humor, an affinity for shenanigans or just down right Southern charm. One of the most charming characters is Miss Kay, the matriarch of the clan.
One of Miss Kay’s favorite things to do is cook–a passion she picked up from her grandmother. Her passion has led to the publication of her cook book, Duck Commander Kitchen. She came to Franklin last week for a book signing and our very own, Donna Vissman, got the opportunity to talk to Miss Kay about her love for cooking.
