A Franklin woman is behind bars this morning after a Wednesday night injury-crash led to her arrest for DUI.
Officers responded to the crash, at 9:15 last night, at the intersection of Carothers Parkway and Cool Spring Boulevard. Both drivers were injured and transported to area hospitals. Samantha Higginbottom, 26, of Franklin, was later released and then booked into the Williamson County Jail. Higginbottom was charged with DUI – Second Offense, and Disorderly Conduct after creating a disturbance in the emergency room.
Higginbottom remains jailed on the $6,000 bond set by the Magistrate. She is due in court on 04/26/2018 at 1:00 pm. The other driver remains hospitalized in serious condition.
