Infiniti Outperforms Other Brands In Shopper Satisfaction Survey

Infiniti outperformed all other brands when it comes to shopper satisfaction, according to a report in Automotive News. Tesla finished last behind all other brands.

The survey, called the 2016 Pied Piper Prospect Satisfaction Index, is based on the treatment of mystery shoppers who visited 6,157 stores in the United States between July 2015 and June 2016.

“Not only at the manufacturer level but at Infiniti of Cool Springs’ level, we strive to make customers a part of our family.  There are lots of options when it comes to automotive needs so when customers choose to shop with us, we are honored,” says Ian Henson, General Manager of Infiniti of Cool Springs.

Lexus and Mercedes Benz tied in second place, followed by Toyota, Audi and BMW. Other lower ranking brands, just above Tesla were Volvo, Mitsubishi, Jeep and Chevrolet, in that order.

Behaviors of salespersons over the past 10 years that rose the most in the rankings include:

  • mentioning the availability of various financing and lease options
  • reviewing features that are different from the competition
  • asking about reasons preventing the purchase
