For the second week in a row, Independence was led to a win by a big game from quarterback Andrew Bunch, beating visiting Centennial 49-6.
The visiting Cougars defense could not slow down Independence like they did Franklin last week.
Air Attack, Part Two
Bunch, 13 of 21 for 221 yards and 4 TDs passing and 6 carries for 52 yards and a TD rushing, launched the Indy offense in the first half.
Right out of the gates Bunch hit Seth Hunter for a 5-yard score. Indy’s defense caused a 3 and out and immediatly Bunch struck again, hitting Adam Swayze for a 46-yard touchdown.
Hunter finished with 8 catches for 93 yards and three touchdowns.

Independence scored twice more before Centennial’s Tyrel Dodson, 8 carries for 38 yards, TD, scored the Cougars lone touchdown of the night, after Indy had amassed a 28-0 lead.
Saying it was all over at the half is an understatement. Bunch sat for all but one series in the second half.
Centennial gained only 154 yards- just 41 rushing. Devious Christman led the Cougars receiving with 55 yards on 4 catches.
Daneil Wright led the Eagles with 80 yards rushing on 10 carries.
Indy will host Lincoln County in a district game next Friday. Centennial hosts Dickson County in a district game also on Friday.
