Independence and Centennial Battle Breast Cancer

Tonight, The Independence High School and Centennial High School DECA chapters are competing to raise money to help find a cure for breast cancer. Independence is hosting a Pink Out football game against Centennial on Thursday, October 10th.

Both chapters are selling pink t-shirts and donating the profits to the Susan G. Komen for the Cure foundation. Purchase can be made at school book stores during lunch or at the main gate of the game. Shirts are only $15 and a great way to tell everyone dealing with cancer that you support them and care.

The game starts at 7p.m. and shirts are not the only way to help. Baked goods will be on sale and you can simply donate to the cause at the main gate too if you wish. Businesses donating money will be announced during the half-time show. Come out to the game and support your local school and help DECA Tackle Cancer.
