After nearly 20 years as a beloved fixture at 347 Main St in downtown Franklin, The Registry — a fine tableware and bridal registry boutique — closed its doors at the end of January.
On social media, they shared, “For many years, it has been our joy and honor to serve Franklin as The Registry, a little tabletop and gift store built on celebrations, gatherings, and the simple beauty of a well-loved home.”
It continued, “Thank you for letting us be a part of your weddings, holidays, dinner parties, and everyday moments.”
The store was purchased in 2014 by Kathy Berry and Jane Dugan, childhood friends who had previously worked at the store. It was founded in 2003 by Carla Myers.
