I-65 Completely Reopens After Morning Crash

Three Transported with Serious Injuries After Morning Crash

Franklin, TN –
Shortly after 5:30 this morning emergency responders were called to I-65 North near McEwen for a serious injury crash. It occurred when the driver of a semi rear-ended a small red car. All three occupants of that car, a 66 year old male with two females: 62 and 50 (all Alabama residents), were transported to Vanderbilt with serious injuries.

The driver of the semi, also from Alabama, was uninjured.

The Department’s Critical Incident Response Team, comprised of traffic reconstructions are investigating. Charges have not yet been filed. As I-65 Completely Reopens and evening commute is hours away – remember to look out for each other and buckle up!
