Hottest Home Market is Williamson County

Part Two of our Progress & Future in WC Series

According to the first quarter report released by the county, Williamson is a hot market for home builders. The Nashville Business Journal reports that construction in middle Tennessee was up 46 percent in 2012 and the Tennessean says building permit requests have spiked and home construction in the area is at the highest in five years.

Mayor Rogers Anderson is excited about this trend due to coming expenses projected for the county. Thompson’s Station is seeing a sharp increase in new homes as well and construction in Spring Hill is everywhere. All of these trends are making for a bright future for our growing communities. According to the Metrostudy revealed at the Home Builders Association of Middle Tennessee, Williamson County builder activity is up 79 percent and neighbor Maury County is up 100 percent.
