Hot Chicken Restaurant to Open in Former Kona Grill Location

Party Fowl

Party Fowl, specializing in hot chicken and creative cocktails, has plans to open at 1914 Galleria Boulevard in the former Kona Grill location at CoolSprings Galleria, confirmed a representative for the local restaurant.

More specifics will be released at a later time but they are projected to open in early 2020.

Party Fowl is co-owned by native Nashvillians Austin Smith and Nick Jacobson. There are currently three locations in the greater Nashville area – Murfreesboro, Donelson, and the original location on 8th Avenue in Nashville. Recently, over 20,000 customers took to social media to express their love of the Murfreesboro location after the restaurant announced it was going to close. Thanks to the community support, Party Fowl Murfreesboro re-opened.

Party Fowl’s menu was created by Executive Chef Bart Pickens and emphasizes cocktails and hot chicken dishes. Guests can select their level of hot chicken from mild to “Poultrygeist.” You will also find over 20 beers on draft including a selection of local brews.

Party Fowl was created as space to gather and watch the game from one of their wall to wall TVs or just hang with friends. Other items on the menu include a gumbo, piggy chips- crispy bacon fried potato chips, and fried cheese grit cakes. You can finish your meal with banana pudding, deep-fried fudge pies, or bourbon-glazed beignets.

Kona Grill opened at the CoolSprings Galleria in August 2016. It was the first location of Kona Grill in Tennessee. They announced their closure in April 2019.
