Homestead’s impressive ca. 1819 antebellum home, which was a ground-zero site for 8,000 Civil War soldiers during the Battle of Thompson’s Station, now serves as the hub for the property. Plans for the Homestead concept include an event barn, a fresh farm-to-table restaurant concept, and educational opportunities involving the on-site orchard, greenhouse and working farm.

Construction is nearly complete on the bar, event barn, and Manor, which will house the eatery. Owner Andy Marshall says the property will open next month.

“As a company, we established early that our focus would be on investing in the community. We’re looking forward to doing that here with Homestead,” Marshall said. “This is an amazing opportunity for our family to create a hospitality concept unlike anything we’ve done before. We believe this property and its components to be unique to not only to this county, but also to Middle Tennessee.”
