Home Free Debuts Cover of “God Bless the USA”

On the heels of releasing the buzzed about cover of Justin Timberlake’s single, “Can’t Stop This Feeling,” Home Free brings their trademark sound and seamless genre crossovers to another level with their all-vocal take on Lee Greenwood’s treasured classic, “God Bless The USA” to celebrate Independence Day.

“We feel very blessed to be able to make music for a living and we know it’s only because we live in a country made great by the sacrifices of others. This is our tribute to the brave men and women of the armed forces past and presently serving,” Tim Foust told Taste of Country.

Produced, mixed and mastered by Darren Rust at Skyland Studios, the patriotic video was filmed at sunset in front of Mount Rushmore and concludes with a famous quote by Abraham Lincoln penned during the Civil War, “Honor to the soldier and sailor everywhere who bravely bears his country’s cause. Honor also, to the citizen who cares for his brother in the field and serves, as best he can, the same cause.”
