“Strong Inside” Author to Speak at Brentwood Woman’s Club Luncheon

The acclaimed author of a book about the first African-American basketball player in the Southeastern Conference will be the featured speaker at the Brentwood Woman’s Club annual holiday luncheon on Tuesday, Dec. 6 at the Brentwood Country Club. The event will go from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Andrew Maraniss, author of “Strong Inside,” the award-winning story of Perry Wallace, who started at Vanderbilt University in 1966, will speak at the event and take questions afterward.

A 50/50 raffle will be held and several vendors will be set up to allow attendees the chance to do some holiday shopping.
