Holiday Inn Express Proposed in Spring Hill

According to City of Spring Hill Communications Officer Jamie Page a sketch plan application has been submitted to the Planning Department to construct a Holiday Inn Express on an empty lot owned by Lifehouse Church at the southeast corner of Campbell Station Parkway and Longford Drive. The 2.79-acre property is zoned B-4 commercial.

It is proposed as a four-story, 121,451-square-foot hotel with 78 rooms. It would employee a maximum of five employees and include an indoor pool.

If this was approved it would be the third hotel in Spring Hill including the old Best Western and the Hampton Inn being built right now. The location will certainly bring forth some questions as how much traffic this will cause in an area that is already congested.  Currently there are two Holiday Inn Express’s in cities Columbia and Brentwood.

Page when on to say the application was submitted by developer RSB Partnership located in Nashville with Chris Goodman as the civil engineer for the plans. The Spring Hill Planning Commission will take its initial vote on the sketch plan at its August 13 regular meeting.
