HOCKEY: GNASH Announces All-Stars

The Greater Nashville Area Scholastic Hockey league announced their all stars Wednesday with 17 spots being filled from Williamson County associated teams.

Brentwood leads the way with five being honored with spots on Team Gold: Jake Mercurio, Niko Jones, Matt Isbell, Noah Klinsky, and Danny Falls.

Ravenwood was close behind with four players making Team Blue: Christian Keczmer, Trey Pefanis, Sid Ivey, and Josh Friedenberger.

Team Gold has three from Hume Fogg-Page (Zachary Thomas, Mitchell Mielnik, and Kyle Bartels), two from Lipscomb-BA (Thomas Neal and Zacariah Zehnder) and one each from Centennial (Dakota Davis) and Independence-Summit (Collin Basilius).

Close to the Williamson County area, Father Ryan and Ensworth-FRA had three players each make Team Gold: Ricky Bohr, Cole Crocker, Owen Sherlog, Christian Smead-Williamson, Peter Srebnick, and Samuel Fleming.

The game will be played Feb. 4 at Ford Ice Center at 7:15 p.m.

All-Star players were nominated to ballots and then voted on by GNASH coaches. Players with the most votes at each position were elected to the game.
