Generations Church moved into the former Franklin First United Methodist space now known as Historic 5th Square in Historic Downtown Franklin. Holding their first service in  December of 2015, they offer more than church services, Generations Church is now accepting applications for its full-service daycare and pre-K programs.

Generations Learning Center opened in January 2016 in the 33,000 square-foot sanctuary building, adjacent to Frothy Monkey and between 4th and 5th Avenues. The faith-based program is led by LaSandra Wall, wife of Generations Church Senior Pastor Kraig Wall, and is open to all area residents.

“The Generations Learning Center has been a dream of ours for many years,” said Kraig Wall. “It is a true blessing to move to this new campus and to have the opportunity to nurture God’s most precious gifts – children – in a Christ-centered environment. It is a special place, and we can’t wait to be a part of the downtown Franklin community.”

The Generations Learning Center offers:

  • Affordable pricing with flexible, full-day programs for children ages 6 weeks to 5 years
  • Proven educators who love children and teaching (each are also CPR and first-aid certified)
  • Highly engaging teacher-directed and organic learning experiences that focus on adjustment, exploration and growth – and building self-esteem
  • Spiritual, physical, social, emotional and intellectual development
  • Secure and expansive indoor and outdoor learning and playing areas
  • Nutritious snacks

“Daycare options are limited or generally at capacity in the area, and it can be a very stressful situation for parents and caregivers,” said LaSandra Wall. “More and more people are moving to Middle Tennessee and we see affordable, personalized and faith-based daycare as a real need in Williamson County.”

Children ages six weeks to five years old are eligible for Generations Learning Center programs. Costs for full-time daycare programs, ranging from two to five days per week from 7:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., are $600 to $1,000 per month. Pre-K programs (ages 4-5) offered from 9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. three or five days per week range from $432 to $720 per month.

Those interested in the Generations Learning Center should contact LaSandra Wall at 615-599-1580 or by email at [email protected].

Generations Church of Franklin leased 33,000 square feet of the former Methodist Church property now known as Historic 5th Square, continuing the long-standing tradition of worship and education in the building and courtyard on Fifth Avenue. In addition to the child care and preschool  program Generations Church will offer, Franklin Classical School also occupies a portion of the Generations Church square footage during the week. Essentially, you could have care for your child and educate them from cradle to 12th grade all in one building, said Kraig Wall, Pastor of Generations Church.
