State Soccer results and schedules to date:
- Class A-AA: Spring Hill beats Columbia Academy 4-0
- Class A-AA : Page loses in a close one to Fairview 4-3 at Page
- Class A-AA: Fairview will travel to Spring Hill. The Winner will take on the loser of the White House and Hume-Fogg Game at home for Sectionals. The loser will travel to the winner of that game.
- Class AAA: Franklin blanks N. Overton 10-0
- Class AAA: Ravenwood blasts Cane Ridge 12-1
- Class AAA: In a different football power matchup it’s a trip to Franklin today for Ravenwood with the winner playing the loser of Clarksville – Hendersonville at home and the loser having to go on the road to play the winner of the same game.
- Div II Class A: FRA lost to USN 3-5 last night. BGA is a #1 seed after winning regionals.
- Div. II Class A Sub-State: #4 ECS at #1 BGA ..#4 FRA at #1 USJ 10/25 times TBA.
- Div. II Class AA: #3 BA will take on #2 St. Agnes Oct. 24th
- Div. II Class AA: PJPII will take on Father Ryan (TBA)
- Div. II Class AA: Ensworth will take on BriarCrest Oct. 23rd.
Here’s how the HS football Playoff Scenario is looking with 2 weeks left to go:
- Fairview: Takes on Page Friday night and needs a lot of help at 5-3 in a tough division with 4 teams above them.
- CPA has a bye and has clinched a playoff berth at 9-0 as they own all tie breakers.
- Page at 6-2 is third in their division and Marshall County owns the tie breaker.
- 6A-AAA is as murky as ever with Independence on the outside looking in. With Brentwood and Summit left to play, Ravenwood has clinched a spot in the playoffs as they own all tie breakers. Franklin and Centennial are vying for that guaranteed second spot with one loss each. Indy could put themselves back into the conversation with a win over Franklin, Friday night. Centennial takes on a Dickson County, a team that on paper says they will beat. If both Centennial and Franklin win Friday night, it will set up a classic crosstown rivalry Halloween night.
- Div. II-A : BGA and FRA are in with the two still to square off in a week.
